Accreditation Processes Evaluated at Edremit Vocational School

Within the scope of program accreditation efforts at Edremit Vocational School, an information and evaluation meeting was held with the participation of the accreditation commission members and program chairs. During the meeting, the preparation process of the Program Self-Evaluation Report (SER), the organization of data and evidence to be included in the reports, the distribution of tasks regarding accreditation efforts, and the completion schedule of the reports were discussed. In addition, the ongoing efforts on a program basis were evaluated, and ideas were exchanged regarding the aspects deemed deficient.

In the briefing provided by the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Selami SELVİ, it was emphasized that the accreditation process holds great importance for improving the educational quality of the vocational school. Prof. Dr. Selvi shared information on the points to consider while preparing the Program Self-Evaluation Reports and stated that the evidence complying with the criteria must be organized completely. Furthermore, the task sharing among the program teams was reviewed during the meeting, and the roadmap to be followed during the report preparation process was determined. Necessary planning was carried out regarding the completion of the Program Self-Evaluation Reports and their upload to the MEDEK Information Management System by June 30, 2026, at the latest.
