The Computer Programming Programs of Altınoluk, Balıkesir, and Edremit Vocational Schools, operating under the Balıkesir University Coordinatorship of Vocational Schools (MEYOK), held a Program Board Meeting to determine educational strategies for the new term and update the curriculum in line with current technological advancements. Held with the participation of department heads, the meeting highlighted the primary goal of training a qualified workforce suited for the era of artificial intelligence.

One of the key agenda items was updating the curriculum to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the software industry. It was decided to phase out outdated programming languages that have lost relevance in the sector and increase the focus on Python, JavaScript, and mobile development languages. Furthermore, a consensus was reached to integrate innovative courses such as "Artificial Intelligence" and "Cloud Computing" into the curriculum, enabling students to compete in the global market post-graduation.

The meeting also evaluated the 3+1 Education Model, which is implemented to familiarize students with the industry. In line with feedback from sector representatives, participants agreed to expand university-industry collaborations to enhance the efficiency and productivity of students during their workplace training.
