Computer Programming Students Meet with Industry Professionals
As part of the industry meetings, students of the Computer Programming Program at Edremit Vocational School organized a technical field trip. Within the framework of the visit, Dumanay Machine Automation Ltd. Sti., one of the prominent local manufacturing companies, was visited.
During the visit, company officials informed students about the production processes of olive color sorting, pistachio shell sorting, and liquid filling machines. The company, which carries out software and mechanical design processes in-house, shared its work specifically on image processing software and automation systems with the students.
Throughout the technical trip, students had the opportunity to examine the production stages on-site and gained practical information on how software and mechanical systems are developed in an integrated manner. The trip aimed to increase the students' sectoral knowledge and professional experience.
Officials of the Edremit Vocational School Computer Programming Program stated that technical trips and industry collaborations will continue in order to support students' theoretical knowledge with field experience.
